So apparently there was this tourist whom everyone thought went missing joined her own search party. Here is the link: LOL
In 2012, there was a woman who was reported missing in Iceland and when she returned, she joined her own search party. After several hours of intensive searching, the tourist realized that she was the individual that everyone was looking for.
I wonder if this is the case for many search parties.
